Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating after a man died in a two vehicle crash at Injune today.

Preliminary investigations indicate at 10.45am a sedan was headed south on the Carnarvon Highway when it has collided with the rear of utility that was stationary, waiting to turn right into Kooragan Road.

The driver of the sedan, a 64-year-old Injune man, was transported to Injune Hospital but died a short time later.

The two people in the utility did not suffer any physical injuries.

Investigations are ongoing.
