A man has died following a fatal single-vehicle traffic crash in Imbil.

Around 9.30am, emergency services located a Mitsubishi Lancer that had struck a tree on Mary Valley Road.

The driver and sole occupant, a 19-year-old Imbil man, was declared deceased at the scene.

Initial information indicates the traffic crash occurred last night.

Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.
