A 54-year-old man has died after being struck by a vehicle while walking along Trebonne Road in Ingham late Thursday night. Police have launched a full investigation into the fatal incident.

- Deceased: 54-year-old male pedestrian from Rowes Bay – died at the scene
- Driver: 36-year-old man from Bemerside – not physically injured
- Passenger: 22-year-old man from Aitkenvale – not physically injured
Crash Description
Initial investigations indicate that the pedestrian was struck by a Toyota Hilux while walking along Trebonne Road. Emergency services arrived shortly after the incident, however the pedestrian was declared deceased at the scene.

Investigation
The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances leading up to the crash. Police are reviewing any available footage and speaking with witnesses.
