A man has died following a two vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway near Calliope on Sunday, September 4.

Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit indicate a head-on collision occurred between a sedan and truck at around 7am.

The driver of the sedan, a 52-year-old Gladstone man died at the scene. The truck driver, a 51-year-old Hollywell man, sustained minor injuries.

Investigations are continuing with police appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash, or has relevant dash cam vision, and who has not yet spoken to officers, to contact them.
