The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal single-vehicle traffic crash at the Bunya Mountains on September 26.

Emergency services were called to the Bunya Highway, near Sinclairs Road, just before 11.30am to reports a car had crashed into a tree.

Upon arrival, the driver and sole occupant, was located with life-threatening injuries.

The 20-year-old Wattle Ridge man was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, where he has since passed away.

Investigations are continuing.
