The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a fatal traffic crash in Bracalba today, December 18.

Around 4.40am, a blue Mazda Sedan was travelling west towards Woodford on the Daguilar Highway when it left the road and collided with a white Hyundai Getz travelling east towards Caboolture.

The driver of the Mazda, a 38-year-old Caboolture man, died at the scene.

The driver of the Hyundai, an 18-year-old Daguilar man, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Caboolture Hospital.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
