The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a single fatal motorcycle crash in Crediton this morning, March 1.

Initial information indicates some time yesterday afternoon, a motorcycle was travelling west on Eungella Dam Road when it left the road and crashed.

Emergency services were alerted to the crash around 7am this morning.

Upon arrival, the rider, a 61-year-old Crediton man was declared deceased.

Anyone who may have witnessed the accident or have any relevant dashcam or CCTV footage, are urged to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
