The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash in Wavell Heights this afternoon, February 29.

Investigations indicate around 1pm, a 20-year-old Geebung man riding a Kawasaki motorcycle collided with a 31-year-old Kalinga man, driving a Jeep Cherokee, at the intersection of Edinburgh Castle Road and Shaw Road.

The rider died at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash and are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have relevant footage, to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
