A 29-year-old Taranganba man has died following a two vehicle crash at Ironpot, north of Rockhampton, this afternoon (September 26)
Initial investigations indicate a Toyota Hilux was travelling east on Rockhampton Yeppoon Road at approximately 4.30pm, when a crash has occurred between the vehicle and an oncoming truck.
The sole occupant of the Toyota Hilux, a 29-year-old man, died from his injuries at the scene.
The sole occupant of the truck, a 41-year-old man, was transported to Rockhampton Base Hospital in a stable condition.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.
