A man has died following a fatal crash in the Central Queensland town of Theodore on Friday afternoon. The crash involved a station wagon colliding with a stationary truck.

Crash Description
Preliminary investigations suggest the Toyota station wagon collided with the rear of a parked truck on Fifth Avenue. The impact proved fatal for the sole occupant of the Toyota. Police have not yet released details on what caused the collision.

Road and Traffic Impacts
There were local traffic disruptions in the immediate area of Fifth Avenue and Schultz Road while emergency services attended the scene.

Investigation
The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision. Officers are appealing to members of the public who may have witnessed the crash or possess dashcam footage.
