The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating a fatal single vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway at Damper Creek yesterday morning, February 26.

Initial information indicates sometime overnight, a Holden Commodore travelling north towards Cardwell, left the road and rolled.

Emergency services were alerted to the crashed vehicle yesterday morning and responded around 6:15am.

Upon arrival, the male driver and female passenger, both aged in their thirties, were declared deceased.

Witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage is urged to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
