A 46-year-old man has died following a single vehicle crash in Biddeston this morning (March 3).

Initial investigations indicate shortly before 6am, a car was travelling along Toowoomba Cecil Plains Road when it crashed into a pole.

The driver and sole occupant, a 46-year-old Harristown man, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.

Police are appealing to any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision from the area to come forward.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
