Incident Overview
A fatal single-vehicle rollover occurred on Saturday night, 16 August 2025, along New Beith Road in Greenbank, Logan, south of Brisbane. The crash claimed the life of the driver and left two passengers injured.

Injuries/Fatalities

  • Deceased: 31-year-old male driver, declared dead at the scene
  • Injured: Two male passengers, aged 36 and 35, transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital with minor injuries

Crash Description
The Volkswagen Amarok was travelling on New Beith Road when it left the roadway and rolled over. Emergency services arrived to find the driver critically injured. Despite efforts, he died at the scene. His two passengers sustained minor injuries and were transported to hospital for further treatment.

Investigation
Queensland Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crash. The Forensic Crash Unit is examining factors contributing to the rollover, including speed, driver error, and road conditions.

Witnesses/Appeals
Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who has relevant CCTV or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the crash, to contact authorities.
