An 82-year-old woman has died following a collision between her Toyota sedan and a semi-trailer on the Bruxner Highway at Goonellabah, in Lismore, northern New South Wales.

  • Deceased: 82-year-old female driver of the Toyota sedan
  • Injured: No physical injuries reported for the 52-year-old male semi-trailer driver

Crash Description
Initial reports indicate the Toyota sedan and semi-trailer collided on the Bruxner Highway. NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the woman at the scene, but she succumbed to her injuries. The semi-trailer driver was uninjured and taken to Lismore Hospital for mandatory testing.

Road and Traffic Impacts
The highway experienced temporary disruptions while emergency services attended the scene and commenced investigations.

Investigation
NSW Police have confirmed an active investigation into the cause of the crash. A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
