An elderly couple has died following a single-vehicle crash on Anzac Highway in Kurralta Park, Adelaide. The crash occurred just before 1:00 pm on Thursday, July 17, 2025, near the Kurralta Park Village Shopping Centre. The pair were travelling in a Volkswagen when the car veered off the road and struck a tree. The 80-year-old female passenger died at the scene. The 81-year-old male driver was transported to hospital in critical condition but passed away early Friday morning. It is believed the crash was caused by a medical episode suffered by the driver.
