Crash Description
The Hyundai Tucson, driven by Cedric Turner, crashed into a house within the retirement village. The impact caused significant damage to both the vehicle and the house.
Injuries/Fatalities
Cedric Turner, a long-time resident of the retirement village, was fatally injured in the crash. He was extracted from the vehicle and taken to Armadale Hospital, but sadly, he could not be saved. A woman who was inside the house at the time of the crash was not injured.
Emergency Response
Emergency services, including police, paramedics, and firefighters, attended the scene. Neighbors also rushed to help Mr. Turner before emergency crews arrived.
Investigation
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. It is suspected that Mr. Turner may have suffered a medical episode prior to the crash. A report will be prepared for the coroner.
