The 54-year-old male cyclist sustained a life-threatening head injury and was transported to Royal Perth Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Mulligan appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on Monday, January 6, 2025. He was granted bail on the condition that he surrender his passport and not leave Western Australia. However, his driver’s license was not revoked. The matter was adjourned until January 28, 2025, for Mulligan to seek legal advice.
