Introduction
A car has been found burnt out after a motorcyclist was struck at an intersection on the outskirts of Perth.

The motorcycle rider, aged in his 20s, was taken to Royal Perth Hospital after he was allegedly struck by a black Jeep Cherokee while exiting a roundabout on Twelfth Rd in Haynes about 3.35pm on Friday. The front of the 4WD was damaged in the crash and the driver allegedly left the scene.

The vehicle believed to be involved in the incident was later found burnt out on a track located off South Western Hwy in Whitby on Saturday morning. WA Police are investigating the incidents and urge anyone with relevant information, particularly vision taken in the area on Friday or Saturday, to come forward.

WA Police are actively investigating the crash and the subsequent arson. Detectives are seeking CCTV, dashcam, or mobile phone vision of any black Jeep Cherokees being driven in the area between Haynes and Whitby on Friday afternoon or evening or Saturday. Vision can be uploaded online and sent directly to investigators.
