Incident Overview
A 13-year-old boy died after an allegedly stolen Toyota Kluger left Willow Road and crashed into a paddock at Gateshead, south of Newcastle, early on Monday, 3 August 2026. Three other teenagers were taken to hospital, and police arrested two teenagers and an 18-year-old man after the crash.
