Details of the Crash

The driver of the Mercedes, a 24-year-old woman from Keilor East, sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene. However, the driver of the Jeep fled the scene on foot. Police are searching for the driver, described as a Caucasian male wearing a white t-shirt and light grey pants, and carrying a backpack. Police believe the Jeep was stolen from Berwick earlier this month.

Traffic Delays and Road Closure

Congestion also affected surrounding areas, including Dandenong Road, High Street, and Toorak Road. One citybound lane was also temporarily closed, but has since reopened.
