Incident Overview
A serious two-vehicle collision occurred on Wednesday evening, 6 August 2025, along Camms Road in Cranbourne, located in Melbourne’s south-east. The crash resulted in life-threatening injuries to multiple occupants, including the traumatic severing of a woman’s arm. Six people in total were hospitalised, including two children.

- Male and female in their 20s from the Ford (minor injuries, Dandenong Hospital)
Crash Description
Police confirmed the Ford Falcon and Toyota Corolla collided on Camms Road, severely damaging both vehicles. Four people were travelling in the Corolla and two in the Falcon. A witness ran to the scene and helped free two trapped victims using scissors to cut seatbelts. The collision left one woman with a catastrophic arm injury.
Road and Emergency Response
- Multiple ambulance crews responded alongside Victoria Police.
- One patient required extraction from the wreckage, taking approximately 45 minutes.
- All six victims were transported to local hospitals.
Investigation
Victoria Police have launched an investigation into the crash. Officers from the Major Collision Investigation Unit are examining the circumstances and mechanical conditions of the vehicles. Seatbelt usage and environmental factors are also under review.
