A 38-year-old Western Australian man is facing charges of dangerous driving following a tragic multi-vehicle Cooljarloo crash on Brand Highway in WA’s Wheatbelt region.

Cooljarloo Crash Overview
The fatal crash occurred on Friday morning just before 9 am on Brand Highway in Cooljarloo, approximately 170km north of Perth. The collision involved three vehicles: a Toyota Prado, a Suzuki hatchback, and a road train towing two trailers.

Tragic Loss and Injuries
Tragically, two elderly women, aged 83 and 82, lost their lives in the Cooljarloo crash. A 12-year-old girl, who was also involved in the accident, sustained minor injuries.

Legal Charges and Court Appearance
The 38-year-old man from Spalding, who was driving the Toyota Prado, has been charged with two counts of dangerous driving occasioning death. He is scheduled to appear before the Perth Northbridge Magistrates Court on Saturday.
