Incident Overview
A Toyota Kluger carrying two adults and three children struck a tree on Putty Road at Colo Heights about 10:15am on 18 July 2026.
Seven-Year-Old
A seven-year-old boy suffered a shoulder injury and was flown to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in stable condition.
Four-Year-Old
A four-year-old boy was taken by road to the same hospital with a head injury and was stable.
Third Child
An eight-year-old child was assessed but did not require further treatment.
Driver
The 35-year-old female driver suffered minor chest and abdominal injuries and was taken to Westmead Hospital.
Passenger
A 40-year-old male passenger was treated for back injuries and also transported in stable condition.
Vehicle Damage
The front of the Toyota was heavily damaged in the impact.
Investigation
Police opened an investigation into the circumstances.
