Introduction: A devastating truck crash in Perth’s southeast has resulted in the death of a 26-year-old man and left two teenagers injured. The incident occurred late at night at a major intersection, raising concerns about road safety in the area.

Crash Overview: The collision involved a white Hyundai Getz hatchback and a blue Mack truck with a white semi-trailer. The crash occurred around 11:55 pm on Wednesday night at the intersection of Beenyup Road and South Western Highway in Byford. The impact resulted in the immediate death of a male passenger in the Hyundai.

Tragic Outcome and Emergency Response: Emergency services rushed to the scene, where they found the 26-year-old male passenger of the Hyundai deceased. The 17-year-old female driver and an 18-year-old male passenger, both from the Hyundai, were taken to Royal Perth Hospital for medical treatment. The truck driver, a 38-year-old man, was fortunately not injured.
