Incident Overview
Multiple people were injured after a bus rolled on the Bruce Highway in north Queensland near Gumlu. Paramedics assessed 29 passengers at the scene, with 17 reported injured, including two people with significant head injuries and multi-system trauma.

- The Bruce Highway was closed in both directions while crews responded, with motorists urged to avoid the area or expect long delays.
Police Investigation
Queensland Police said the bus rolled on the highway and no other vehicles are believed to have been involved. Investigations into the circumstances are continuing.
