Queensland Police are appealing for information following a single vehicle traffic crash at Bells Bridge this morning, May 4.
Initial investigations indicate around 3:30am, a 2009 Ford Mondeo was travelling southbound on the Bruce Highway near the Wide Bay Highway before it rolled.
The driver and the single passenger of the vehicle had to be extracted by emergency services.
The female driver was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The male passenger was transported stable to Gympie Hospital.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash and are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or have dashcam CCTV of the area around the time of the incident to come forward.
Investigators would also like to talk to the driver of a red sedan that turned southbound onto the Bruce Highway and may have witnessed the crash.
Investigations are ongoing.
