Incident Overview
A serious three-vehicle crash occurred on Wednesday, June 15, 2025, at approximately 6:15 pm on Kingston Road, near the intersection of Opal Street, in Kingston, Queensland.
The collision involved a 2012 silver Mitsubishi Lancer, which struck the rear of a 2008 orange Suzuki motorcycle traveling in the same direction. The Mitsubishi then continued forward and collided with a stationary 2002 blue Toyota Camry at a traffic light.
Following the impact, the Mitsubishi crossed over the median strip into the southbound lanes before coming to rest.
The motorcyclist — a 44-year-old man — sustained significant head, chest, and pelvic injuries and was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in critical condition. The Mitsubishi driver, a 40-year-old man, was taken to Logan Community Hospital in stable condition. The Toyota driver, a 40-year-old woman, was uninjured.
