Incident Overview
A 41-year-old woman from Flinders View has died following a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on the Logan Motorway at Forest Lake on Sunday night, November 2, 2025.
Initial investigations indicate that at approximately 10:40 pm, a blue Suzuki motorcycle was travelling westbound when, about 1 kilometre east of the Centenary Highway, the rider lost control and crashed.
Emergency services arrived at the scene, but the woman was declared deceased. The Forensic Crash Unit (FCU) is continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash, including road and environmental factors.

Police Investigation
The Forensic Crash Unit (FCU) is investigating:
- Speed, road surface, and lighting conditions on the Logan Motorway at the time of the crash.
- Possible mechanical issues or rider fatigue contributing to the loss of control.
- Eyewitness accounts and dashcam footage from motorists travelling westbound between **10:30 pm and 10:50 pm**.
Police are also examining whether wet road conditions or other external factors played a role in the crash.
Community Impact
The fatal crash has saddened the Forest Lake and Flinders View communities, adding to a series of fatal motorcycle incidents across South East Queensland this year.
