Incident Overview
A 21-year-old man has died following a single-vehicle crash in Maroochydore on Thursday night, October 16, 2025.

Initial investigations indicate that at around 10:50 pm, a grey Volkswagen sedan was travelling along Maroochydore Road, approximately 200 metres west of the Broadmeadows intersection, when it collided with a tree.

The driver — a 21-year-old Nepalese man — was declared deceased at the scene. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash and is appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage from the area.
