On Tuesday, 18 June 2024, a man in his 30s died in a workplace accident at a business premises on Darlington Drive in Yatala on the Gold Coast. Paramedics attended but were unable to revive the man, who was declared dead at the scene.
Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) was notified and has commenced an investigation into the circumstances of the fatality. Queensland Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
