A leading Aussie aviation lawyer says anyone on that horror Singapore Airlines flight should seek legal advice before jumping on the airline’s compensation offer. Those who were injured in the severe turbulence are being offered between 10 and 25,000 US dollars. The airline insists the payments are of goodwill, but Peter Carter from Carter Capner Law thinks otherwise.

Certainly some of the payments are what they are required to do legally. Certainly they must refund legal expenses, ticket price, and compensation for delay.
