A class action against Harvey Norman for false promises of interest-free loans has been launched by hundreds of customers claiming they were lured in by the retailer with a false promise of interest-free loans, but then slugged with hefty fees and charges and supplied with credit cards they hadn’t requested. The class action follows a Federal Court ruling in 2024, which found Harvey Norman and Latitude Finance Australia misled consumers.
