Police have charged a man following investigations into a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred in Narangba on 12 August 2025. Around 6:45pm, a Nissan Skyline struck a pole at the intersection of Neon Street and Potassium Street. The passenger, a 66-year-old international man, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene. The driver, then aged 34, was transported to hospital in a stable condition. On 3 December, police charged the now 35-year-old North Lakes man with dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death and driving with a relevant drug present in his system.
