A 19-year-old Kirkwood woman died after a single-vehicle crash involving a Mitsubishi Triton at Machine Creek, near Gladstone, on Saturday, 1 August 2026. Queensland Police said she sustained critical injuries and died at the scene. Two other occupants sustained minor injuries.
