On Thursday, 1 November 2024, a man in his 60s sustained life-threatening injuries after an incident involving a circular saw at a worksite on Old Cleveland Road in Stones Corner, Brisbane.
Queensland Ambulance personnel responded immediately and transported the worker to Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Workplace Health and Safety Queensland has been notified and is conducting an investigation into the incident.
Workplace Health and Safety Queensland is appealing for any workers, contractors or witnesses present at the Old Cleveland Road worksite on Thursday, 1 November 2024 around 6:11 PM to come forward with information. Reports can be made to WHSQ on 1300 362 128.
