Circumstances:

The ATSB reported it is investigating a runway incursion and near collision involving a Cessna 402C, registered VH-HMG, and a safety vehicle at Jandakot Airport, Western Australia.

During take-off for an air transport operation with six passengers on board, the pilot observed a safety vehicle enter the runway in front of the aircraft. The aircraft was above the maximum speed for a rejected take-off and continued the take-off, passing above the vehicle in close proximity.
