Police have charged a 35-year-old Joyner man following a fatal traffic crash at Chermside this morning, March 21.

It will be alleged at approximately 5.15am, a man was using a pedestrian crossing zone at Kittyhawk Drive and Murphy Road when he was struck by a gold Honda CR-V.

  • It will be further alleged the driver, a 35-year-old Joyner man, left the scene before abandoning his vehicle along Awaba Street at Wavell Heights and setting it on fire
