What happened

Incident Overview

On Saturday, September 10, 2022, an e-scooter rider suffered critical injuries following a collision with a vehicle in Capalaba, Queensland. The incident occurred at approximately 3:30pm when the e-scooter collided with a black Volkswagen Scirocco hatchback at the intersection of Finucane Road and Moreton Bay Road.

Bystanders and the vehicle driver provided immediate assistance to the injured rider before emergency services arrived at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was not physically injured.
