Incident Overview
A serious single-vehicle crash occurred at Paget, Mackay, on Thursday night, September 4, 2025. At approximately 10:35 pm, a grey Ford Falcon sedan veered off Broadsound Road at the intersection with Farrellys Road and rolled onto its roof. The 18-year-old male driver managed to escape the vehicle and was transported to Mackay Base Hospital in a stable condition. His passenger, an 18-year-old woman, was trapped and extricated by emergency services with life-threatening lower-body injuries. She was transported to Mackay Base Hospital before being transferred to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for further treatment.
