Incident Overview

A 17-year-old boy from Mount Perry died following a single-vehicle crash on Gin Gin Mount Perry Road in Wonbah, Queensland, on Monday, 16 February 2026. Police allege the white Ford Fiesta left the roadway, struck two trees, and rolled down an embankment before the driver was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The teenager was the sole occupant of the vehicle. Despite emergency medical intervention, he was pronounced deceased on Wednesday, 18 February 2026, two days after the crash.
