On Friday, 4 April 2026, a 31-year-old man died following a single-vehicle quad bike crash on Pullom Road at East Palmerston on the Cassowary Coast. Queensland Police allege the green Kawasaki quad bike left the road and struck a pole, with the rider declared deceased at the scene.
