Initial investigations indicate that around 7:25pm, emergency services were called to Mount Cotton Road near Coorang Road following reports of a Nissan Patrol four wheel drive crashed into a Honda Goldwing motorcycle.

  • Upon arrival, the rider of the motorcycle, a 63-year-old Cornubia man and his pillion passenger a 65-year-old Cornubia woman were initially treated for serious injuries but both declared deceased at the scene
  • The driver of the Nissan, a 21-year-old Carbrook man, was not physically injured
  • Fatalities:
