What happened

Incident Overview

Emergency Response

Queensland Police and Queensland Ambulance Service attended the scene. The female driver of the car was transported to Gympie Hospital by ambulance with minor injuries. The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Queensland Police are investigating the circumstances of the collision. The investigation is examining the circumstances surrounding the vehicle’s right turn from Woondun Road onto Old Bruce Highway and the subsequent impact with the southbound motorcycle.
