Fatal motorbike crash, Dinmore

What happened

Incident Overview

On Wednesday, 21 September 2022, a fatal collision occurred on the Warrego Highway at Dinmore, Queensland, when a motorbike travelling westbound collided with a truck. A 27-year-old rider from Darra sustained critical injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Queensland Police Forensic Crash Unit attended and commenced a full investigation into the circumstances of the crash.

The collision occurred on the Warrego Highway at Dinmore, westbound carriageway, at approximately 6:30pm on Wednesday evening, 21 September 2022.

Emergency Response

Queensland Police and emergency services attended the scene at Dinmore. The 27-year-old rider was pronounced deceased at the scene. The truck driver was uninjured in the collision.

Investigation

Queensland Police Forensic Crash Unit is leading the investigation into the circumstances of the collision. The 33-year-old truck driver is assisting police with their inquiries. Forensic Crash investigators are appealing for any witnesses or persons with dashcam vision of the incident to come forward.
