A 30-year-old Kuraby man has passed away following a single vehicle crash in Kuraby overnight (September 23).

Preliminary investigations indicate a car was travelling westbound on Beenleigh Rd just after midnight, when it left the road and struck a light pole near Pioneer Drive.

The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
