What happened

Incident Overview

On Monday, September 5, 2024, a 30-year-old woman from Conondale died following a single-vehicle crash on Aherns Road in Conondale. The silver sedan left the roadway and collided with a driveway culvert at approximately 6:40pm, causing the vehicle to roll.

The woman was the sole occupant of the vehicle and sustained critical injuries at the scene. Queensland Police Forensic Crash Unit attended and is investigating the circumstances of the crash.

Queensland Police Forensic Crash Unit is leading the investigation into the circumstances of the crash. Police are appealing for any witnesses or motorists with dashcam footage of Aherns Road around the time of the incident to come forward with information.
