Incident Overview
Queensland Police are investigating a serious collision between a Toyota Hilux and a Yamaha motorcycle at Bray Park on the night of Monday, 14 September 2026.
According to the preliminary police account, the Hilux was travelling east on Samsonvale Road and attempting to turn right into Dean Street when it collided with the motorcycle shortly before 9.50pm. The 18-year-old rider was critically injured and taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Injuries and Emergency Response
The motorcyclist was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, where police said he remained in a critical condition when the appeal was issued. Police reported that the Hilux driver and passenger did not sustain physical injuries.

Investigations into the circumstances of the crash remain ongoing. Police have asked anyone who was in the area at the time, particularly anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to come forward.
