On Wednesday, 11 December 2024, a 55-year-old farm worker was fatally injured in an excavator accident at a macadamia farm on Queensland’s Fraser Coast.
Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) and Queensland Police are investigating the incident. Police have confirmed the death is being treated as non-suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
