Viking Sky coast guard medevac rescued a passenger off Mexico on January 1, 2026, after the woman reportedly sustained a serious leg injury.
The ship was navigating off Michoacán, Mexico, when it requested medical assistance for a 76-year-old female passenger. The available report said she reportedly suffered a fracture to her left femur following a fall.
