Ovation of the Seas passenger death was reported on January 19, 2026, after a 27-year-old male passenger was found unresponsive on board following the ship’s docking at Singapore’s Marina Bay Cruise Centre.
Singapore police received a call for assistance at about 6:35 a.m. local time. The passenger was subsequently pronounced dead by the ship’s medical staff.
Preliminary findings reportedly indicated no suspicion of foul play. The available report does not identify a cause of death.
The incident occurred at the end of the 3-day Penang Cruise, which operated roundtrip from Singapore from January 16 to 19 and included a call at Penang Island, Malaysia, on January 17.
